Chaturthi holds a great religious significance among Hindus as this day is devoted to Lord Ganesha. Devotees of Lord Ganesha observe fast on this day and offer their sincere prayers to Lord Ganpati. This fast is observed from dawn to dusk and after offering prayers to Ganesh ji in the evening, fast can be broken. Dhundhiraja 2026: Significance
Chaturthi tihti is always devoted to Lord Ganesha and on this auspicious day, devotees observe fast and offer their prayers to Lord Ganpati to seek his blessings. The day holds a religious significance among Hindus. It is believed tha the one who observe this fast, can get rid of all the obstacles from their life. Lod Ganesha is pratham pujya or first worshipped god so people are advised to worship him first before starting any auspicious work.
Dhundhiraja Chaturthi 2026 : Puja Rituals
Devotees should get up eearly in the morning and first take bath before starting any puja ritual. Then they should light a diya with desi ghee in front of the idol of Lord Ganesha. Offer durva grass, the favorite grass of Lord Ganesha. You should chant various mantras dedicated to Lord Ganesha to invoke the idol. It is considered meritorious if you place Goddess Lakshmi along with the idol of Ganesh ji. Offer modaks, boondi laddoos for bhog prasad.
