The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has invited applications for the recruitment of Young Professionals (YPs) in various departments at its Central Office in Mumbai. Interested and eligible candidates can submit their applications through email on or before July 6, 2026.The recruitment drive offers opportunities in several specialised areas, including artificial intelligence, quantum technology, climate risk and sustainable finance, payment systems, financial markets, data analytics, policy research, and supervision.
RBI Young Professionals recruitment 2026 : Salary and tenure
Selected candidates will receive a fixed monthly stipend of ₹1.5 lakh. The engagement will be on a full-time contractual basis.The initial contract period will be three years and may be extended based on performance and mutual agreement. However, the total tenure will not exceed five years.The RBI has clarified that Young Professionals will not be treated as regular employees of the central bank and will not be eligible for additional allowances or benefits.
