Application fee and selection process
The application fee is Rs 2,500 for general category candidates. Candidates belonging to SC, ST, OBC, EWS and PwD categories need to pay Rs 1,250. The fee must be paid online. The fee once paid will not be refunded.The selection process will be based on academic record, research work, teaching experience and interview performance. Shortlisted candidates will be called for interview. The final merit list will be prepared on the basis of total marks obtained in different stages. Selected candidates will be appointed as Assistant Professors in state-aided colleges of West Bengal.
