A glimpse into one Indian woman’s rental experience in Dubai has caught attention online, after she shared what her living space looks like and how much she pays for it. Her video has also started a conversation around how differently the same amount of money can translate into housing in Dubai and India.Sakshi shared the video on Instagram while speaking about her experience of living in Dubai. Sakshi reveals her Dubai rent

My followers who are in India or other countries might be very surprised to learn that in Dubai, for this tiny little box, I pay around ₹45,000 INR in rent. For the past year, I have been living in this tiny room, and moving forward, I am shifting into another tiny room again. The only difference is that the environment will change slightly, the atmosphere will be different, there will be new neighbours, but the rest of the story remains the same. Just imagine, for ₹45,000 in India, you can easily get up to a 3 BHK flat in many places.”
Her comparison with India
Sakshi used her own rent to highlight the difference between housing costs in Dubai and India.She said that in many places in India, ₹45,000 can get a 3 BHK flat, making the amount feel very different when compared with the small room she has been renting in Dubai.
