RRB JE CBT-I answer key 2026: The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) will release the answer key for the first stage Computer Based Test (CBT-I) conducted for Junior Engineer recruitment under Centralised Employment Notice CEN 05/2025. Candidates who appeared for the examination will be able to access the answer key through the official RRB websites.The link for viewing the question papers, responses, and answer keys will be activated at 16:00 hrs on March 5 and will be accessible until 23:59 hrs on March 11. During this time, the candidates can view their responses and raise objections regarding the questions, answer options, or answer keys using the online mode.Examination Schedule and Answer KeyThe CBT-I examination for the posts of Junior Engineer (JE), Depot Material Superintendent (DMS), and Chemical and Metallurgical Assistant (CMA), etc., was held on February 19, February 20, and February 25.The candidates who have appeared for the CBT-I of the above-said posts can access their question papers, answer keys, and response sheets by visiting the regional websites of the concerned RRB. In order to access the answer key, the candidates need to open the CEN 05/2025 JE answer key link. After that, the candidates need to enter their login credentials. After successful login, the candidates can access the answer key.This recruitment process aims to fill the vacant positions of 2,569 posts in different railway zones.Objection window and payment detailsThe candidates who notice differences in the answer keys, questions, and options provided in the answer keys can submit the objections through the online window provided by the commission within the specified time frame.The fee structure for the objections has been fixed at Rs 50 per question, along with bank service charges applicable for the same. If the objection submitted by the candidates is found to be correct after reviewing the same by the board, the payment made by the candidates for the particular objection will be refunded to the account of the candidates through the same account from where the payment was initially made, after deducting bank charges applicable for the same.The payment can be made through RuPay cards, credit cards, UPI, and net banking.The RRB has advised the candidates to submit the objections before the deadline of 23:59 hrs on March 11. The representations submitted after the deadline will not be entertained by the RRB. The decision taken by the RRB on the objections submitted by the candidates will be final and binding on the candidates.Vacancy distribution across zonesAs per CEN 05/2025, the recruitment includes 1,090 posts in the General category, 410 for Scheduled Castes, 210 for Scheduled Tribes, 615 for Other Backward Classes, and 244 for Persons with Disabilities.As per zone-wise data, Kolkata has the maximum number of vacancies, totaling 628, followed by Mumbai, which has 434 posts available. Next in the list is Prayagraj, which has 162 vacancies, followed by 160 posts available for candidates in the Chennai zone.Ahmedabad has 151 posts available, followed by 127 for Bilaspur, 109 for Ranchi, and 108 for Chandigarh. Secunderabad has 103 posts available, while other zones such as Guwahati have only seven posts available, and Muzaffarpur has 23 posts available.Candidates who qualify for the CBT-I stage of the recruitment will be eligible for appearing for the CBT stage, which is the second stage of the recruitment.Final stages of the recruitmentThe final stages of the recruitment include document verification and medical examination for the candidates who qualify for the recruitment.
