Silence has a way of bringing things to the surface.

When life is constantly filled with work, plans, messages, reels, and conversations, there is very little room to hear what you are actually thinking. Being alone changes that.

At first, it may feel uncomfortable. You remember things you had been avoiding. You think about choices you are unsure about. You notice what is making you unhappy.

But eventually, you stop running from those thoughts.

You learn that not every uncomfortable feeling needs an immediate distraction. Sometimes you can sit with it, understand where it is coming from, and let it pass.

That is a very different kind of peace.
