Ekadashi in March 2026: Significance
Ekadashi is the most significant day, which is dedicated to worship Lord Vishnu. Devotees observe fast on this auspicious day and offer prayers to lord Shri Hari. Ekadashi in March 2026: Puja Rituals
1. Take a holy bath as soon as you wake up.2. Before setting up the altar, clean the house and the puja room.3. Set up an idol of Lord Vishnu and Goddess Laxmi in the form of Shree Yantra.4. Light a diya with desi ghee, decorate the idols with flowers, and offer homemade sweets.5. Chant the Vishnu Maha Mantra and Om Namo Bhagvate Vasudevaye 108 times.6. Recite the Ekadashi Vrat Katha.7. Spend your day chanting mantras. 8. Lord Vishnu must also be worshipped in the evening and conclude the puja after reciting the aarti. 9. The next day, on dwadashi tithi, Ekadashi fast is broken. However, those who can not bear the hunger can eat on the same day by having sattvik food, fruits, fried potato with curd and milk products; rice is not allowed on the day of Ekadashi.
