The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will close the Class 12 re-evaluation application window today, June 7, 2026. Students who are not satisfied with their marks and wish to request a re-check of specific answers can submit their applications through the official CBSE post-result services portal.The re-evaluation facility is available only to those students who have already obtained scanned copies of their evaluated answer sheets. CBSE had opened the re-evaluation portal earlier this week after a brief delay caused by technical updates and security checks.To apply for re-evaluation, students must pay a fee of Rs 100 per question. The board has advised candidates to carefully review the official marking scheme before submitting their requests, as re-evaluation can be sought only for selected questions.According to CBSE, students should compare their answers with the marking scheme and apply for re-evaluation if they believe there has been an error in the evaluation process.

How to apply for CBSE Class 12 re-evaluation

Students can follow the steps below to submit their applications:

  • Visit the CBSE post-result services portal.
  • Click on the relevant link for Class 12 re-evaluation
  • Log in using the required credentials.
  • Select the subject and question(s) for which re-evaluation is required.
  • Upload the necessary undertaking, if applicable.
  • Pay the prescribed fee online.
  • Submit the application form.
  • Download and save the confirmation page for future reference.

Direct link here.Meanwhile, CBSE has informed that it received more than 70,000 applications under its post-result grievance process, including requests for re-evaluation and other review services. The board also stated that its portal remained operational despite attempted cyberattacks during the application period.The CBSE Class 12 result 2026 was declared on May 13. Eligible students who have already accessed their evaluated answer sheets can complete the re-evaluation process before the application window closes today.
