Mehta Family School of Data Science and AI’s inaugural graduating cohort marks a milestone year with all eligible students placed across global tech, finance, and research giantsThe first-ever BTech graduating batch from the Mehta Family School of Data Science and Artificial Intelligence at IIT Roorkee has delivered a striking result — 100% placement for all students who appeared for recruitment.The cohort has secured roles across a wide spectrum of high-impact sectors, including artificial intelligence, technology, finance, analytics, and research-driven industries.Recruiters this year include some of the world’s most competitive employers such as Amazon, Microsoft, Goldman Sachs, Qualcomm, Salesforce, Samsung Research, Databricks, Barclays, Visa, and Warner Bros. Discovery, among others.The outcome underscores the institute’s push towards building strong foundational training in AI while aligning curriculum with real-world industry needs.“This premier graduating batch is the outcome of a deliberate effort to build AI capability at the undergraduate level,” said Prof. K.K.
