NIFT UG 2026: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has announced the NIFT UG 2026 round 1 seat allotment result on the official counselling portal, allowing registered candidates to check their allotment status online. Candidates can access the result by logging in with their NIFT UG roll number and password at the official website.Candidates allotted seats in the Bachelor of Design (BDes) and Bachelor of Fashion Technology (BFTech) programmes are required to download their provisional seat allotment letter from the portal. Along with checking the allotment status, candidates must complete the willingness submission and pay the prescribed admission fee within the notified timeline to retain the allotted seat.Admission process after seat allotmentThe counselling portal enables successful candidates to view their allotment result, download the provisional allotment letter and complete the admission formalities. According to the official notification, failure to pay the required admission fee within the stipulated period will lead to cancellation of the allotted seat. Such candidates will not be eligible to participate in the subsequent regular rounds of counselling.The NIFT Entrance Examination 2026 (NIFTEE) was conducted in February 2026 for admission to undergraduate and postgraduate programmes offered by the National Institute of Fashion Technology.Round 2 schedule and choice modificationCandidates who were not allotted a seat in round 1 will automatically be considered for subsequent rounds of seat allocation, provided they remain registered and fulfil the eligibility requirements.The NTA has also announced that the option to apply for an NRI Sponsored Seat for round 2 will be available on July 3, 2026, from 9.00 am to 5.00 pm. Candidates will also be able to modify their choice filling for the second round between July 3 and July 5.Steps to check the allotment resultCandidates can access the NIFT UG 2026 round 1 seat allotment result by visiting the official counselling website and selecting the round 1 seat allotment result link on the homepage.
